Culture is important to us. Swiss Post has supported the Locarno Film Festival for 22 years now. We will be there once again in 2024, when the organizers call “Action” on the Piazza Grande from 7 to 17 August.

The Locarno Film Festival and Swiss Post are getting Switzerland moving and bringing people together. Is there anything better than getting swept up in the moment with your nearest and dearest?

We’re passionate about culture and film. What better way to transport us into other worlds and to make us laugh or sometimes even cry? We are also sponsoring the Locarno Film Festival BaseCamp, and in doing so, championing young artists.

At BaseCamp, up-and-coming artists harness the festival’s energy to realize their own ideas. In 2024, Swiss Post is celebrating its 175th anniversary. Swiss Post has been committed to culture for 175 years. Right from the very beginning, every stamp has been produced as a small work of art. Today, the commitment is much broader. We asked young artists how they see Swiss Post today. The answer is a specially designed space at BaseCamp. The doors at BaseCamp are left open during the festival, and we invite everyone to explore this powerful and creative place.
